NGC 602

This is just too freaking fantastic…

APOD : NGC 602 and Beyond

Notice the several hundred galaxies in the background of the image! It kind of freaks me out to see them all in one frame.. I mean, you always know at the back of your mind that the universe is big. But seeing it all sprawled out in front of you is utterly unnerving!

What’s more, by some weird space-time curvature, we might be looking at our own galaxy as it would be in the future! what what!

I see trees of green, red roses too

Are also on the faces, of people going by.
I see friends, shaking hands, saying how do you do

They’re really saying, “I love you.”
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow;
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
